My name is Pamela Timm and this is my first year at Paideia Academy.  I am very excited to be part of a school that has such a focus on student learning.  As a special education assistant, I work with students in small groups to help them gain a better understanding of a concept.

I graduated from Winona State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in 5-8 Social Studies.  I taught fourth grade for a year in my hometown of Racine, WI before I moved to Minnesota and spent the past year being a substitute teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin school district.

Currently, I live in Shoreview, MN with my husband Nigel.  In my spare time, I like to go to Twins games, read, and spend time with my family and friends.  I am happy to be part of a staff that is helpful and works well together and am excited to be working at a great school.

Hello!  My name is Trina Greene, and I am so excited to be teaching sixth grade at Paideia Academy this year.   Sixth grade is truly an exhilarating year for the students—it is a time of increasing responsibility and work, but also one of great fun and new discoveries.  In sixth grade, we strive to teach the children skills necessary for the immediate school year as well as additional skills that will help them later in their academic career and life in general.

“In addition to sixth grade, I also teach seventh grade gifted and talented mathematics and am the Mathematics Curriculum Specialist and Gifted and Talented Coordinator.  I love every aspect of each thing I do here at Paideia!”

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Masters of Education in Mathematics Education and Middle School Education at the University of Minnesota. I am originally from Duluth, MN but now I reside in Rosemount with my husband, James, and our two “children”, Oliver (a cat) and Pumpkin (a bunny).  I enjoy traveling, reading, scrapbooking, and participating in outdoor activities.  I am also crazy about Dory from Disney’s Finding Nemo—and really all things Disney for that matter!  I truly remain a child at heart and firmly believe in the power of your dreams.
