| Jill Godtland Director  Welcome to Paideia! My name is Jill Godtland, and I am the Director at Paideia Academy. I have a B.A. in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis and Communications, and my M.S. is in Education. My educational career began in California where I worked for another start-up charter school for 5 years. My family and I relocated to Minnesota on January 1, 2004. It was then that I began working for the University of Minnesota in the Center for School Change. I was able to work with many charter schools there, but I missed the students. After much research, I found Paideia Academy. I knew this was a school that I would want my children to attend and with which I would love working. Both my son and daughter attend Paideia. I have worked extensively with charter schools, and I cannot imagine going back to a traditional public school. The ability to affect such change within a school it what attracts such highly qualified teachers. The influence of parents, students and teachers is undeniable. And Paideia is a shining example of what a great charter school can do. |
