Community Partnerships Instructor, Violin Instructor, WISHES Coordinator, is a violinist originally from the Twin Cities area. She holds both a bachelors and masters of music from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in violin performance and string development, respectively. An accomplished orchestral player, Teresa has played professionally in the Madison Symphony Orchestra, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, the Beloit- Janesville Symphony Orchestra, the New Jersey Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Gateway Orchestra in Connecticut. In addition to giving concerts around the United States, Teresa has also performed in concerts in Bolivia, Chile, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, and most recently, Germany, where she was invited to perform in a recital at the University in Halle, Germany. In addition to her work as a performer, Teresa is also passionate about social issues. She is an AmeriCorps alumni and currently works for Saint Joseph’s Home for Children in Minneapolis.
