The role of the technology coordinator involves budgeting for the coming school year, ensuring compliance with MDE suggestions regarding school technology and acquiring new equipment for the school. In addition, I work with the District Assessment Coordinator to ensure that MAP and MCA testing runs smoothly. The technology coordinator also works to train teachers in using technology in the classroom and assisting them in maintaining that technology. In addition to maintaining network infrastructure, keeping an inventory of current equipment and ensuring timely installation of software, I also serve as a resource for teachers and staff who have questions about using technology effectively.

I have a B.A. in biology from St. Mary’s University in Winona , MN. I am licensed to teach science in grades 5-8 as well as life science 9-12 and chemistry 9-12. In addition, I am licensed to teach language arts in grades 5-12. Prior to coming to Paideia, I taught in Savage and completed my student teaching in Wisconsin before moving to Minnesota . I really love the staff at Paideia and I like getting to know students over two years in science class.
