Paideia Academy, a K-8 public charter school in Apple Valley, received the Minnesota Department of Education School Finance Award for 2009. To earn the honor, Paideia complied with all state requirements for meeting financial reporting deadlines, as well as meeting detailed requirements for financial policies, budgeting, fund balances, finance training and overall fiscal health. In addition, the school received a clean financial audit for fiscal year 2008.
